I've decided to make an effort to get up earlier, take a walk around the neighborhood, and come back before the wife wakes up. Maybe I can make it an hour or two before I need to sleep. I'm also going to try and keep seeing things/doing things that I enjoy at the moment.
I think this is really important. If you can find a way of making something that makes you happy a priority then you will be able to maintain a lot of functionality. You don't have to get up at 4AM every day but you need to make sure there's SOMETHING that is at least a priority.
