What is the personality type of The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Stone Free? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Stone Free from 1960s Music and what is the personality traits.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Stone Free personality type is ESTP, according to my personality test. If the personality type is the same, I will go with my intuition and say that they are an ISTP. I think they might be an ISFP, too. I don't think people who are ESTP or ISTP can be ESTJ or ISTJ (the most common personality type). Sorry to disappoint ESTJ and ISTJ fans.
I typed the name of the band and they were ESTP. This is only one of the reasons why I believe they're ESTP. I feel like they have a lot of ISTP's qualities as well as ESTP's.
Here's some more evidence:
1) Their first album title was "Are You Experienced?" which is an obvious parody on the question "Are You Experienced?" from Jimi Hendrix' first album.
2) They had a lot of songs on their first album about the effects of psychedelics. The two most famous songs on that album are "Hey Joe" and "Purple Haze", which are both psychedelic songs.
3) They had a song called "Something Else" which I believe is an ESFP's song.
“Stone Free” is a song written by Jimi Hendrix and the second song recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. It has been described as a "counterculture anthem, with its lyrics praising the footloose and fancy-free life", which reflected Hendrix's restless lifestyle. Instrumentally, the song has a strong rhythmic drive provided by drummer Mitch Mitchell with harmonic support by bassist Noel Redding. “Stone Free” was issued on December 16, 1966, as the B-side of the Experience's first UK single “Hey Joe” and later included on the Smash Hits compilation album.
In April 1969, Hendrix recorded a revised rendition of the song for possible release as a single. However, it was not used and Reprise Records issued the original recording as a single in the U.S. on September 15, 1969. Hendrix often played “Stone Free” in concert using extended arrangements, sometimes lasting over fourteen minutes. The revised song and several live recordings were later released.
