The Huntsman personality type is ISTP, the second-most common personality type among professional gamers and one that is commonly identified in the gaming world, and it appears that ISTPs are more likely to be diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) than other personality types.
The study found that ISTPS had a significantly higher prevalence of OCD than other personality types, with 68% of the ISTP group, compared to 48% of the NTP group, diagnosed with OCD.
The study was led by Dr. Simon Kirwan, a clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at King’s College London. It was published in the journal PLOS ONE.
Dr. Kirwan and his colleagues analyzed data from the World Health Organization (WHO) World Mental Health Survey Initiative and used a questionnaire to assess personality and mental health features in 5,908 participants from 54 countries.
The results showed that ISTPs had a significantly higher prevalence of OCD than other personality types. While ISTPs are often associated with introversion, the results showed that they are actually the most neurotic of all personality types.

The Huntsman was the winner of the 1862 Grand National steeplechase run on March 12 at Aintree near Liverpool, England. The winner was owned by Viscount de Namur and trained in France by Yorkshire born trainer Henry Jeremiah Lamplugh who also chose to ride the horse himself. The Huntsman had previously finished third in the race in 1859 and second in 1860, being ridden in the latter race by the amateur jockey Thomas Townley.
