Ran is the youngest out of the group of main characters. He is level headed and mature and is the main comic relief in the group, often being found in the background doing something outrageous or hilarious. He is also shown to be very protective and caring of the other characters, especially his little brother Kengo. He does not like to be teased and won't hesitate to fight back.
He is also very knowledgeable about most things, as well as being generally smart. He is also shown to be very talented at playing the piano and is also able to play the guitar, as seen in episode 11. He also seems to be quite good at math, as he can calculate how much time they have left to run away before they are caught by the adults.
Ran is also shown to be very capable of taking care of himself. He can easily handle himself in a fight and is shown to be very good at shooting.
Ran Takahashi (髙橋 藍, Takahashi Ran, born 2 September 2001) is Japanese male volleyball player. He plays for Nippon Sport Science University's club and Japan men's national volleyball team (RYUJIN NIPPPON). In the Tokyo Olympics, Ran is one of the players Japanese national volleyball team.
