Shikai: As mentioned before, Kain's Zanpakutō's Shikai is unique as different from other Zanpakutō in terms of releasing state. In the traditional release state of Zanpakutō, the blade is drawn from the scabbard to be used. In Kain's case, he instead draws a single arrow and shoots it at his opponent, releasing his Zanpakutō. The two blades clash, then Kain slashes his opponent with both blades, causing an explosion that blasts the opponent away, while Kain himself leaps away.
