Sloth personality type is ISFJ, as is my mother, as well as a great deal of the world’s population.
As an ISFJ, I’m completely devoted to my family and will go to absurd lengths to help them. I also have a great deal of patience with them because I know that if they need something I will be patient with them. As a result I tend to be a very good parent and a very good spouse.
The problem is that I often don’t see the value in things other people deem valuable. For example, I’ll often say “I don’t need a new car, I already have one” (or “I don’t need anything fancy, I already have everything I need”). I think this stems from the fact that I don’t want to waste my time and energy on things that aren’t necessary to me.
For example, I care about and enjoy music (especially popular music and the like), but I rarely write about it because it’s not that important to me. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, but I don’t really enjoy going out to interesting places.
