Much later Eve soon found herself on trial for consuming fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, by The Serpent who planted evidence. Despite her pleas that she was innocent, the gods ruled her guilty, as with most cases with mortals, and would be exiled to Earth. Adam showed her his loyalty to his wife by forcibly barging into the court and consuming several apples from the Tree of Knowledge before the gods. Moved by his actions the two resolved to make a new paradise for themselves. The two humans would become parents to Cain and Abel, becoming the progenitors of mankind.
