Heimdall personality type is ISTJ, and it’s starting to become clearer why. Take a look at his recent behavior.
It’s not as if Heimdall is completely off the rails (he’s not, yet). He’s not doing anything that could be considered “crazy” or “unpredictable”. He’s just showing a much more typical ISTJ side: practical and hard-working and cautious and serious and everything that the ISTJ is stereotyped as being. He’s just being himself, which isn’t that unusual for an ISTJ.
But he’s also doing something else that’s a bit unusual for an ISTJ. In the past few weeks, he’s been playing a much more active role in the MCU events. In Thor: The Dark World, he was the one who ended up having to clean up after Loki’s escape from Asgard, and then he returned to Asgard to help Thor out with the problems there. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, he was the one who saved Thor from Ultron, and then he returned to Asgard to help Thor out there as well.
