    Jack the Ripper
    ENTP

    ENTP (7w6)

Jack the Ripper personality type is ENTP, but I've seen many ISTPs, NTPs, and other types act like this.

There are also people who act like this who are not type specific. There are, for example, people who act like this who are not STs, but are still the type of person who would be referred to as an ST by other people.

This is why I don't take the type system seriously. We're all just people acting in ways that fit our nature. There's no point searching for definitions that fit us better than what we actually are.

I think that you're overthinking this a bit. You're trying to find a pattern that doesn't actually exist. There's no real way to say what someone's personality is, but I think you're ignoring the obvious from the people you're describing. It sounds like they're all ISTP, they're all very similar in their own way. I don't see how they could be anything else.

And if you think it's a sign of a bad thing to have a personality that you can't control, you're not going to last long as a "real" psychologist.

Jack the Ripper was an unidentified serial killer active in the largely impoverished areas in and around the Whitechapel district of London in 1888. In both the criminal case files and contemporary journalistic accounts, the killer was called the Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron. Attacks ascribed to Jack the Ripper typically involved female prostitutes who lived and worked in the slums of the East End of London. Their throats were cut prior to abdominal mutilations. The removal of internal organs from at least three of the victims led to proposals that their killer had some anatomical or surgical knowledge. Rumours that the murders were connected intensified in September and October 1888, and numerous letters were received by media outlets and Scotland Yard from individuals purporting to be the murderer. The name "Jack the Ripper" originated in a letter written by an individual claiming to be the murderer that was disseminated in the media.
