My wonderland is a place where I make music and make other people happy, it’s where you can look at me and see a part of me. It’s a place where the music comes first and overpowers everything else.
The first song I remember writing was “Numb” and it came from a very dark place. I was heavily involved in the internet scene back then, I was hanging out with a lot of people who were very negative and dark, and this was the first song that came from that.
It has a very gloomy feel to it and I wanted to express that feeling as such. The song is about going through a very dark place and feeling numb to everything around you. The title refers to being numb to the pain of the world, not being able to feel or be affected by anything around you. You go through a very dark place and you start to feel numb to everything around you, not being able to feel anything.
I think about this song a lot, I’m still numb from what happened in 2016, I have not been able to move on from that.
