ESFPs, who are better known as "the Extroverted Sensors" are, by definition, the shortest of all the types. The ESFPs' primary function is Extraverted Sensation, which means that they are primarily concerned with the world around them and the impressions and reactions of others. As a result of their Extraverted Sensation function, ESFPs usually enjoy being in the center of attention and being the center of attention is often their primary goal in life. ESFPs need not be concerned with being around people all the time, but they do enjoy forming close, loving relationships with those they are close to, especially family members and those they are romantically interested in. ESFPs have a hard time being alone for long periods of time and need to be around others in order to feel comfortable and satisfied.
ESFPs have difficulty concentrating on one topic in depth for an extended period of time and tend to be bored easily. Because of their extraverted nature, ESFPs have an active imagination and are easily distracted.
