Atwater was a very good person who was just misunderstood. He just wanted to help people in need. And in his own way, he did.
The thing that stands out to me is that he was all about the Constitution. Atwater was a huge fan of the Constitution, which seemed to be his main source of pride. It was the only thing he said he emulated in his life. He was an evangelist for the Constitution, and he believed in it so much that he was willing to die for it.
And he did die for it, in 1994.
