I’d like to tell you that I don’t feel like a bad person for not identifying with this description, but I do. And since I am an INFJ personality type, I know that this description is pretty accurate.
I do not like to think of myself as the good person who keeps things under control. Even when I was in my twenties (and when I was in my twenties, my need to keep things under control was almost pathological), I didn’t want to be a good person.
I did not want to do things that were good for me, and I did not want to do things that were good for other people.
