This is why they are sometimes called "ideastrons," because they exist in a "cosmic" way for the purposes of processing information. They are also known for being very cautious in how they use their personal information.
This is the point in the personality type chart where you would expect something that sounds a little like a quote from a 1980s sitcom to pop up. Though they are sometimes teasingly referred to as the "Know It All," these types do not like to be seen as intellectuals or know-it-alls. ENTPs see themselves as merely highly intelligent, which is not the same thing at all.
