I have been inspired by the Persona series, so I decided to create a Persona 3 character. I put a lot of effort into creating a character that would fit in, and I think it turned out fairly well.
What did you have to consider when designing the Persona 3 character?
The main point that I was thinking about while designing Persona 3’s protagonist was about what kind of person he was, and also how he would make friends. In the end, I felt like the protagonist’s personality type was ENTP, or “Explorer.” He’s an ENTP, which means he’s an “Explorer.” When I thought about computers and programming, I thought that his personality type fits perfectly with that. He’s a very curious person who likes to do research and then go out and test his theories. He plans his plans out well, and then goes out to test them.
I guess that’s the kind of personality he is… So I tried to put a lot of personality into his name.
