In the past, Park Yoo-sik was a DJ and a singer for several years. He had his own "Yoo-sik's JAM" radio program, and was a member of a band called "S.O.U.P".
In 2005, he joined the Sechs Kies as a bassist, and with them released a single called "Tears" in 2007, which was a number 1 hit on the music charts. In 2008, after the release of their second full-length album, he left the group. In 2009, he debuted as a solo artist with "Innocent" on YouTube, which was viewed by over 2 million people. In 2011 he won the Best Male Artist award at the SBS Popular Music Awards and became the first Korean singer to win the prize without having made any musical debut before.
In 2011 he released his first mini album "Innocent", followed by his first full-length album "Yoo-sik" in 2012.
