    ISTP (3w4)

Rinaldo degli Albizzi personality type is ISTP, and even though he feels like an INFJ (because he’s a great guy and is formatively intuitive and insightful, but doesn’t have the social skills to express these things), he has a hard time being open with people, and is too stiff to have a deep connection.

He’s a good person overall, but he’s just got a lot of social anxiety. Even though he knows himself well, he has a hard time being open.

There are a lot of things he thinks he wants to do, but can’t remember the reasons for. And it’s frustrating, because the reasons are right there within him, but he can’t figure out how to express them.

He can be very introspective, and is sometimes self-critical. He feels like he’s never done what he thought he was supposed to do. And that makes him anxious.

He would love to be more open and expressive, but he doesn’t know how. His conscience is a big part of his personality, and if he becomes less introspective, he would feel guilty for not being a good person.

Rinaldo degli Albizzi was an Italian nobleman, a member of the Florentine family of the Albizzi. Along with Palla Strozzi, he was the primary opponent of Cosimo de' Medici's rise in Florence. Albizzi entered public service for the Republic of Florence in 1399 as a diplomat under the oligarchic rule of his father, Maso degli Albizzi. He served on several dozen official diplomatic missions, first locally in towns such as Arezzo and Cortona, later on more distant assignments to Pisa, Lucca, Naples, and Rome. At the height of his diplomatic career, he was the principal ambassador for Florence, and was particularly active in ecclesiastic affairs. On his father's death in 1417, Albizzi became the unofficial second-in-command of the oligarchy under his father's longtime friend, Niccolo da Uzzano. He eventually assumed leadership when Uzzano died in 1431.
