Soundwave Personality Type, MBTI

Soundwave personality type is ISTJ, since he is a logical intuitive, who explains the situation and then gives out the solution. This is mostly true of the original character, but is NOT the case with the modern continuity. Soundwave, while a ruthless warrior and spy, is also a very competent engineer and technomancer. He is also a master tactician, and can be very manipulative. However, Soundwave's main function is that of a technical genius, as he is the one who controls all of the Decepticons' technological systems. Soundwave's role in the Decepticon army was to learn as much as possible about any opponent and to use this knowledge against them. In fact, during the course of the cartoon, Soundwave actually managed to develop a Laserbeak capable of accessing and decoding Autobot energy signatures, as well as learn how to hack into the Autobots' communication network and reprogram them.
