The ISTJ personality type is often described as being extremely focused on the details, often to the detriment of their own feelings, but I didn't find myself experiencing that kind of focused-ness in this story. While the characters are certainly focused, the story itself does not hold my attention for very long. I didn't find myself completely invested in the characters' relationship, and I wasn't rooting for them to succeed, which is what I would expect from an ISTJ character.
What I did like about this book were the glimpses into the lives of the characters. I found that I could relate to some of their struggles and how they were flying through life on the wings of IMVIs, but I found it hard to relate to others. These characters were not people who I could empathize with.
I also wanted to like this book because it had so many great reviews, but I just couldn't finish it. I didn't like the characters; I didn't like their story; and I wasn't invested in the plot.
