"Uncle" Jack Dorso personality type is ESTP, which is the "wild, exciting, and spontaneous" type. I've also heard that his wife, Dena, is not only an ESTP, but that she's "an extremely intense woman." It's just too bad that the show doesn't seem to give them much attention.
One of the more interesting characters on the show is Peter Brunt, who plays Josh's boss. He's a very normal-looking guy–just a regular American guy–but he's extremely convincing in his role.
Apparently, Peter is a very good actor. He made a guest appearance on the show Once and Again. And this was prior to getting cast on The West Wing.
I asked him if he heard about it from anyone at the studio. He said, "Yeah, I did hear about it from my agent."
He explained that he got a call from a friend at a casting agency saying that they were looking for a character for a new show that was set in the government and he auditioned for it.
