Doctor Fishman personality type is ISFJ, but that is not the only issue. The Fishman's true strength lies in his 3rd function, "Te," which allows him to honor and uphold values and traditions. Many ISFJs behave in a traditional and honor-bound fashion and believe in the sanctity of tradition and social rules. They want to bring justice and order to the world and believe in the "right" way of doing things. For example, they may go to great pains to honor the traditions of their family or community. They often value loyalty and will not betray their close friends or associates. They are extremely sensitive to criticism and criticism of their family, friends, work, ideas, and so forth is very painful for them. They tend to be overly-concerned with the feelings of others and may end up hurting others unnecessarily because they can't see that criticism is not personal and that it is not aimed at them.
