I had a hard time with Ti, my feeling side. I felt like I was missing out on many things by not being more interested in people's feelings, especially my own. At 18 I changed my type to ENFP, which helped me to become more interested in people's feelings. After that I went into ISFP. We all have our strengths and I had mine at that time. I am still interested in people's feelings, but I find it difficult to express my emotions to others. So now I type as ENFP. I believe this is my best type.
I have always had an interest in people's feelings. When I was young, I actually had some trouble expressing my own feelings. So I became interested in people's feelings and studied them. This kind of came naturally to me. I discovered that it is easier to understand the feelings of others if you can first understand your own feelings.
I have found that the best way to understand your own emotions is to first identify what your triggers are. A trigger is any situation that makes you feel a certain way for a certain amount of time.
