Jayhun personality type is ENFJ, 16% is ISTJ, and the remaining 36% are iNtuitive ENTPs. In other words, the study found that the average personality type of an SJ person is ISTJ.
So while it’s true that Jungian personality types are more common in SJs (i.e., ISTJs), this is not because they are more likely to be SJs, but rather because they are more likely to be ENFJs.
For example, if you’re an ISTJ, it’s nearly a sure thing that you will have an SJ-y personality type, but it’s not a sure thing that your personality type is going to be an SJ type. It’s possible that you will have an ISTJ personality type and not be SJ.
So here’s the bottom line:
I found (using the same methods I used for this article) that around 89% of SJs have an SJ type. This means that 11% of SJs don’t have an SJ type and that 5% of SJs have an incompatible type!
