He got selected to be one of the 50 people who will be trained for this program.
Due to the low priority of the program, he had to train with a team of people sent from a different branch of the military. He was very excited about being selected because he thought that being sent to this new training program would be a great opportunity for him.
The training itself was very hard at first, because you had to do physical exercise everyday and if you were not able to do it, you would have to write your goals down.
