Ibn Al Jawzi, Hanbali Theologian personality type is ENFJ, enneagram type is 9, and the trait description is the “Mentor, Counselor, and Defender”.
First, let me clarify the most important point on this site and in my book. I am not a psychiatrist, I am not a psychologist, I am not a social worker, I am not a counselor, I am not a spiritual teacher, I am not a therapist, and I am not a pastor. I don’t have any degrees of any kind. I am just a person who has spent years studying and observing how people function in general, how they put together their personalities, and how they interact with other people.
That said, I do know a little bit about psychology and certain aspects of various personality types. I have described the enneagram in my book, but for the most part it is just a visualization tool used to help people identify their own personalities.
Why did I choose enneagram type 9? Because in my opinion it represents the main differentiator between the personality types. The enneagram represents a person’s personality through nine different layers of personality. The problem is that not everyone has an exact match to every layer.
