Jemilla personality type is ENFJ, and I am a mix of both. Looking back, I know I was always a bit more of a “jester” than a “jem,” and I will continue to be one of those people who doesn’t take anything seriously. What is wrong with that? Nothing! And if you’re like me, you need to do the same thing.
I try to keep things light and fun, even on the most serious of topics. I find that it keeps things from getting too serious and that I can still be taken seriously as a person.
But I don’t think my sense of humor is a silver bullet for everything. I have a theory that a lot of the things we take so seriously are really not so important after all.
Jemilla is a very serious book, and it is a book about love, loss, and moving forward after tragedy. In fact, for those of you who have read the book, you know that Jemilla is a woman just like me who was diagnosed with terminal cancer at age 30. Jemilla is a woman who has been through a lot.
