Sitar personality type is INFJ, for instance. Or, as the title of my book suggests, "The Dilemma of the Contented Observer".
But in all honesty, it's not just about being a "dilemma". It's also about being a "problem", as in "why are we having this conversation?" It's about having an emotional life that is more than just a series of events, more than a series of desires, but also a series of problems, and a series of questions.
This is the whole point of Sitar, the whole point of these classes, the whole point of this book, the whole point of me. We don't just want to watch the world go by, we want to be able to say "I am watching the world go by" and have a reason for doing so.
When we watch the world go by (when we are IN Sitar) we are seeing it with our eyes wide open. We are looking at what is under our feet, we are noticing the nuances, we are looking for the details. But just as importantly, we are looking for the questions, the reasons for what we see before us. And that's why we're here.
