The “YOU” Guy personality type is ENTP, one of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types. According to the Myers-Briggs personality type indicator, ENTP is the “You” guy because, like most ENTP types, I am very interested in people and how they work. And, like most ENTP types, I am very interested in how people think and how they work. And, like most ENTP types, I have a very active mind, which makes me an excellent “You” guy.
In this post, I want to share some of the things that I’ve learned about leadership from my own experience as well as from my observations of the leadership styles of others.
Notice that I said “others” not only because I want to be fair to all types, but because it’s easier to show leadership from the outside when you’re a “You” guy, who observes and analyzes rather than an “I” guy who implements.
As a “You” guy, your “I” is not in charge.
