This is a very interesting post and I have been pondering this for some time now. There is a part of me that feels "I know, but I just don't WANT to know." When I was first diagnosed, I thought I would be able to deal with it and go on with my life as if nothing was changed. But as time has gone on, it's become more and more difficult to ignore the truth. I am constantly reminded of it through my interactions with family, friends and even strangers.
I feel like I'm constantly walking on eggshells and there's no end in sight.
