He is a computer hacker and works for his father, who sends him to analyze Count D'Orsac's programs. When he sees Hard Corps, he determines that the program has a virus within it. His goal is to infiltrate the base, install the virus, and shut down the computer-controlled machines. Before he can do this, he needs the password to enter the computer, which is held by the leader of Hard Corps, General Carlin.
Enzo Matrix is a skilled hacker, and after successfully entering the computer, he discovers that his father has been using the program to control Hard Corps. He also finds out that his father has been using him as a test subject for his programs. Enzo manages to shut down the computer and upload a virus into the system, but his programming prevents him from escaping the base.
As the base begins to shut down, he is unable to escape before the emergency doors are sealed. He is then able to escape from his confinement, but he is unable to rescue his sister before she is put into a coma.
