People have known and recognized me as an INFP since I was a little kid, but I never knew why. I don’t know what it was that made my parents know that I was an INFP in particular, but they did. They just knew it without me knowing it. I didn’t even know what the letters meant. I only discovered them when I was, like, five years old. I just knew that I was different from all the other kids, in some kind of way. But I didn’t know how.
So when I was in high school, my mom pulled out this book called Gifts Differing. At first I thought that it was a stupid book about how to understand other people’s behavior, but as she started reading it to me, she explained each letter of the INFP triangle to me in detail.
