When we were young, we were always quiet and reserved. We genuinely wanted to fit in with everyone else and make everyone happy, but we couldn’t. We had an inner core that didn’t fit in with the rest of the world, and it was lonely.
Unfortunately, our quiet nature meant we had little to no friends in school. We didn’t feel like we had a true personality type, but we felt like we were still two different people.
We were told that we were being weird and strange, and that we should fit in more with the other kids.
