Takemichi “Takemitchy” Hanagaki personality type is ISFP, an introverted, sensitive and expressive personality with a strong individualistic streak. In other words, he is a very sensitive and artistic person who gets very upset when someone hurts someone he cares about. He is also very independent and has a deep love for animals and the ocean. He is a very caring and affectionate person and is quite shy with women. He is quite strong-willed and very sensitive to even the smallest things and this is what causes him to be so clingy to people he cares about. His parents are both in the denial stage of grief and so Takemichi has been trying to comfort them, however he has been unsuccessful as his parents have refused to take his help.
Takemichi has a younger sister who is actually in middle school, but she lives with her grandparents in Tokyo. Takemichi lives alone with his mother and father who are still in the denial stage of grief. He runs an airsoft shop and the two of them help him run the store while they are in denial. Takemichi has his own apartment and spends a lot of time helping his mother cook dinner and doing chores around the apartment.
Takemichi was an individual who has lost his sense of direction. Thus, he had low self esteem, always apologizing for even the smallest things and easily crying. As noted by those around him and even himself, all he is good for is apologizing. He also holds a grudge towards wealthy people because he himself is not very financially stable.
However, going back in time again and again gradually molds Takemichi into a completely different person. Slowly, he turns from a coward into a man with unshakeable conviction. Even facing insurmountable odds, he refuses to back down. He becomes the one who holds Toman together through their hardships and turns into its unofficial leader, guiding even Mikey and Draken onto the right paths.
