In Hannah’s case, her love for animals started early, but it wasn't until she attended the University of Missouri that she realized she wanted to pursue a veterinary career. She began interning at a local animal hospital in her hometown of Greenville, Missouri, and soon after she enrolled in a veterinary school in Kansas City.
While she was working at the hospital, she fell in love with everything about vet school. "I had always been around animals at an early age, so I knew from a young age I wanted to work with them. But I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life until I was in college. I wanted to be able to help others and save lives, so I knew from a young age I wanted to go into vet school,” Hannah explains.
