Edina Monsoon personality type is ESFP, and I’ve always been a dreamer deep down. I think this is why my other type has been so difficult for me to live with. I have to be the one to make the changes, and I’m usually not happy with the outcomes. In this case, my ESFP husband left me because he could not stand that I didn’t take care of myself as much as he did — he thought I should be more like his mother, who is an ENFP. He thought I should be more like his sister, who is an ENTP.
My husband and I were married for 21 years and we had two wonderful children together. We were so close and we loved each other so much and we were best friends. Though we had our ups and downs, we could never stay mad at each other for long. When we separated, we remained friends and I couldn’t survive without him.
I also couldn’t survive without the dreams I had for my life. My passion was my writing — it was my creative outlet — and I knew that the only way I could achieve it was if I lived alone and made money doing something I loved.
