Collin "The Anointed One" personality type is INTJ, and I am a 9w8. I started to notice these "teams" when I was in high school. I only had one close friend and we were not very social, and we were pretty much left alone. I was a bit of a loner and used to like to play video games, read, and watch TV when I was home alone. I would play video games with my brother when we were in the same room, and we would talk about our common interests. He is also an INTJ type.
My friend was a couple years older than me, and she was always hanging out with the popular crowd. She had a boyfriend and they would go out to parties and stuff. My brother and I were in our early 20's when we made the connection between this and people in the "popular crowd" and how we didn't fit in. It really hit me in college when I spent my freshman year in a dorm by myself.
I would go downstairs to get a drink from the fridge and I got talked into joining a study group with all the girls from my floor. We would sit for hours talking about our lives without ever getting to know each other.
