This is a quality that’s been present in my life in various ways, but that has been especially prevalent since I was in my 20s. And it’s not simply a matter of confidence, as it’s also not a particularly big deal to me. But here’s the thing: You can’t get anywhere without confidence. And you can’t get anywhere without a certain amount of arrogance. The combination of these two qualities is what gives the INTJ so much drive and success.
But I believe that this is the most misunderstood trait of the INTJ personality type. The INTJ is not some kind of “proud, self-centered jerk.” They are not “out for themselves.” They are not self-centered or selfish in any way that matters.
