In my writing, I have a consistent habit of writing from the perspective of an ISTP. In fact, I tend to write from the perspective of as many as four types, as it helps me as a writer to understand the different perspectives and nuances of the characters that I write.
In order to do that, I have to learn about each type's way of processing information, and their strengths and weaknesses.
Of course, this is a very simplified explanation. In reality, it takes a lot of self reflection and introspection to figure out your own personality type. But once you do, it's pretty easy to spot others!
