Nurse Bendy personality type is ESFP, so it doesn’t surprise me that she’s so wonderfully carefree and very much at home in the world.
The fact that she’s so open-minded and not afraid to try something new is a lovely trait for a character, and I’m very grateful to be able to work with her.
How do you approach writing a character who is more outgoing than you are? Or, more specifically, how do you approach writing a character who is more interested in the world around them than you are?
I’m not sure I’ve ever really thought about it, but I guess it’s more a matter of just trying to remember that there are other people out there from whom you might learn something—or at least, from whom you might get a chance to learn something.
I feel like Nurse Bendy is an example of a character who is more interested in the world around her than I am. It’s also a good jumping-off point for me to say that I think everyone has a different way of approaching the world, and that what you learn from each other can be very different.
