Kongou personality type is ENFJ, and the reason why is that she’s a very ENFJ-inspired character. The way she acts, her personality, and even her quotes from the movie are all very ENFJ-esque.
It’s her personality that makes me think this. Personality traits aren’t much in the movies, but personality itself is a huge part of a character’s personality in my opinion. So when I wrote about personality in my article about personality types in the anime, I said that a character’s personality is a combination of their personality type and their values. There’s a lot of overlap between your personality type and your values, but your personality type is much stronger than your values.
In other words, your personality type is the foundation from which your values grow. In fact, I think that most people have a solid foundation of their values from their personality type, but they rarely develop their values from that foundation.
Personality doesn’t have to be obvious, but it does have to be there. Seishiro is a good example, but he also isn’t a great example because he didn’t have a personality to begin with.
