Oregon personality type is INFP, and what you learn about them is the same as what you’d learn about types INFJ and INTP. They’re dreamers and idealists, and they spend a lot of time developing their inner world and jumping from idea to idea as they explore what they believe the world to be. I’m not sure how to express how much this actually matches my experience. While the INFP is the dreamer and idealist type, I’m really more like an ENFP. I do spend a lot of time developing my inner world and exploring ideas, and I do jump around from idea to idea, but I don’t think I’m actually acting on impulse or doing something just because I can.
So why would I like this theory? Because it accounts for my experience, which is that I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing or why I’m doing it. I generally know what I want to do with my life, but the details are uncertain.
