Protagonist personality type is INFP, but the chapter on xFNP told me that some INFPs are xFNP. The book gives more examples of this type. I am more likely to be an xFNP, but I am an INFP, so I still found some things useful. Anyway, I learned about the Perceiving Introverted Feeling (PFe) and the Judging Extroverted Thinking (XTi) functions, which is also how I discovered that I am one of the few people with an Ni-dominant Te. The chapter on xFNP was helpful, but it didn't provide examples of how to do certain things like look for patterns in the way people act, so I don't think it was written for people like me. The chapter on Fe with chapter on Fi was great, since I am an introvert who has Fe with an Fi inferior function. I also liked the chapter on Ne, since I am an introvert who has Ne with an inferior Se. The protagonist has an everlasting temptation to indulge in the darker aspects of life- the occult. The protagonist can do several actions such as: Work, Study, Dream, Explore, and Talk. The protagonist can be seen as a reasonable individual and highly creative as shown by their thorough analysis on various works of literature and creation of influential paintings. They are able to sway and convince others to join their cult with their Passion and Reason.
The protagonist has a tendency to become overwhelmed with Dread and/or Fascination- often resulting in the protagonist killing themselves.
