What is the personality type of Lucifuge? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Lucifuge from Tokyo Afterschool Summoners and what is the personality traits.
Lucifuge personality type is ESFP, but it is not unusual for several of the Jungian functions to be suppressed. The chapter on the Shadow relates how this can happen, and gives an example of someone who was forced to suppress her desire to create and her desire to be in charge (ESFP) by an external situation (ESTJ). In this chapter, it is suggested that the reason why some people cannot express their whole nature is that they are conscious of being "in the grip of a parental figure".
The chapter on the Shadow begins with a quotation from C.G. Jung: "We must remember that every individual has a shadow and that the individual's whole life consists in the struggle with the dark side of his personality."
The first part of the chapter consists in an analysis of the concept of "True Self", which is very close to Jung's idea of the Shadow. The real Self, according to Jung, is the part of the individual personality that does not follow the laws of the ego, but is based on instinct and intuition. This part of the personality is often repressed by the ego, and can emerge only in dreams and especially in repressed memories.
