Ben Parish personality type is ESFP, and the story I'm working on is about a young boy and girl who become very close friends and then become lovers, which is a very rare type of relationship. I'm pretty excited about it, and I'm looking forward to working on this story with my friend.
I also have a dream of writing a YA novel. I want to write something that involves young love and the feelings of first love. I know it sounds silly, but it's something I've always wanted to do and I think it would be a really fun and exciting experience.
What advice do you have for other kids who want to pursue writing careers?
Well, I've noticed that some people really push children away from writing, and I think that's a real shame. I think there is still a lot of stigma attached to it, but I don't think that everyone should write. One person's vision is never going to be the same as everyone else's. We all have such different ways of expressing ourselves, so ideally, children should explore all their different interests and try lots of different things in their lives.
