He wants to be “enough”, but doesn’t feel that he is. He will cling to his loved ones to try and make them happy, but because they are disappointed in him, he can’t seem to live up to this expectation either.
Although he may not voice his feelings in the moment, his feelings are still there inside. He can’t seem to speak them out loud without feeling deflated or hurt. He wants the close relationships in his life, but doesn’t feel that he can live up to their expectations.
