He has a very strong moral compass, and if something doesn't feel right to him, he'll refuse to partake in it. He's the type of person who'd never cheat on his partner, but he'd also never want them to cheat on him, either. He's fairly blunt and doesn't like talking behind people's backs.
Takeo is someone who doesn't like confrontation, so if his friends are hurting, he'll do anything he can to help them. He's very supportive, but he also feels that he's failed if his friends are unhappy with him, so he'll do everything he can to make them happy again. He's actually fairly good at reading people, and can tell if they're lying before they can even think of it.
