Jim personality type is INFP, which is why I have some of the same tendencies. Also, I’d like to think that he was a lot more like me at the beginning of the show. I feel like he was a lot more thoughtful and careful at the beginning of the show. He didn’t start off as this hyper-aggressive, confrontational guy. He was more of a thinker. He wanted to see things through. He was a very quiet man. He didn’t say a lot. So I think that Jim had a lot more in common with me at the beginning of the show. But then we started stretching the limit when he became more aggressive.
I like to think that I’m more like him now, but we’ll see. We’ll see how it goes in Season 4.
How did you get involved with Community?
I auditioned for the show, and they were looking for someone to play the role of the new study group member. I had never seen the show or read any of the scripts, so I didn’t think I had much of a chance.
