    Halsey's Music Career

    As far as Halsey's music career goes, she started out in the summer of 2012, during her high school years, with her song "Bad at Love", which was featured on her band's EP titled From Now On. Later, in 2013, Halsey released her first EP titled Room 93, which got mixed reviews from music critics.

    In 2014, Halsey became a part of the musical group The Chainsmokers, alongside fellow members Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, who also went on to sign a record deal with Disruptor Records. Halsey's debut single "Closer" was released later in 2014, which featured the lyrics "I'm so sick of these games/ I'm so sick of playing it cool/ I need to get closer." The song was also featured in the movie Get Hard.
