Matt Dusek personality type is ENTP, or “the Inventor.” In my opinion, he’s probably one of the most creative people I’ve ever met, and some of his innovative ideas have become fast-food classics.
For example, when he was a student at the University of Virginia, he and another friend were walking to the campus firehouse to get a ride home. They noticed that the firehouse was out of power – a common problem in the old building. The problem was that the only way to get electricity to the firehouse was to run a cable up a pole from the street – a ten-foot pole.
So, one night they climbed down into a ditch and plugged up an extension cord. They got the cable up to the firehouse and plugged it in. Then they tried to run some extension cord from the firehouse to another building on campus. It didn’t work. It turns out the plug was too short to reach the other building. So they plugged it in to the nearest outlet, which was in their dorm room (so they didn’t really need it).
Suffice it to say, this story has been told many times.
