Sister Nicci believed in witches, and she was always trying to prove she was one. Her disbelief in the supernatural made her a perfect match for the family of the teenage witch, Samantha Stephens. While Sister Nicci was close to Sam, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched.
While Sister Nicci often got into trouble because of her curiosity, her quick wittedness, and her stubbornness, she always seemed to have a good attitude. She also had a huge heart. She saw the best in people, especially her family. She loved them unconditionally, even when they didn’t deserve it. She would do anything for them, including fighting supernatural forces.

This changes when Richard convinces her that her strength is hers and hers alone and that she does not need to serve the Creator, Keeper, or himself. Upon obtaining Richard's power and being ressurected after her death in battle, she serves as a major antagonist in the series's second season.
